About Me

My name is Jawad Nazzal, and I recently graduated from Politecnico di Milano with a master's degree in Architecture and Urban Design.

The skills I gained throughout my undergraduate and graduate years extend from project design (from small to large scale) to visual representation. Being an active, communicative, and understanding team player, especially during the more challenging periods of each project, is probably one of the most important lessons the academic environment has taught me. For example, during my internships in Milan, the ability to communicate my thoughts and opinions to the rest of the team proved beneficial on several occasions that contributed to the successful completion of the projects in a timely fashion and within our tight deadlines.

Researching innovative projects is a passion of mine. For my thesis, I contributed to the long-standing research of the Garden City in Letchworth by incorporating innovative technologies into its self-sustainable framework, thus responding to architecture’s responsibility towards the urgency of climate change. The master plan was redesigned around the current and future effects of climate change.

I am excited to learn and grow in this field, and I am confident that I can work well with any team I am assigned to, to elevate projects creatively.
